How Paul and Marjorie Met "My buddy Harry Slliman lived acros s the street from Marjorie's half-sister Lorraine and husband Oli ver Kensinger (6100 block of Rosland St., south of Broadripple; Indian apolis). Sometime during Marjorie's senior year of high school sh e traveled to Indiapolis to babysit the Kensingers two daughters whil e they went on a trip (?). After they returned Marjorie returned to Cl inton, MO to finish school. After graduating high school Marjorie move d in with the Kensingers. Harry dated Marjorie for a time and then I b egan dating her. We dated for a couple years before we married" ; - Per interview with Paul on 11/13/2006 The Honeymoon " I was working at what was then called Bell Telephone as a cable splice r, which required travel within Indiana. We were married at Trinity Ch urch in Indianapolis. The "honeymoon" was at a hotel in Koko mo, Indiana where I was living while traveling to surrounding cities t o splice cables for Bell. We spent a couple weekends at Lake Schaffe r sailing a rowboat the boyscouts had modified into a sailboat." ; - Per interview with Paul on 11/13/2006

Lorenz, 3423 Salem Street, took place a t 7 o’clock last night in the Episcopal Church of the Advent. The Rev . George S. Southworth officiated. Mrs. Russell Sanders, organist, pla yed. Attendants were Miss Virginia Ann Lorenz and Frederick G. Lorenz , sister and brother of the bridegroom. The bride wore a printed shee r suit with white accessories and gardenias. After a short motor tri p the couple will be at home in Indianapolis.
