44 | Robert A. McMahan, who came to Troy fifty years ago from Vineland, N . J., died at his home early Sunday morning from Bright’s disease, age d 73. Mr. McMahan was a veteran of the civil war and a member of th e Presbyterian church. His wife survives, two sons and two daughters ; Robert of Binghamton; Howard of Troy; Mrs. Fred Newell of Washington , and Miss Harriet McMahan of Troy. Two brothers and three sisters al so are living-James of Troy; David of Athens; Mrs. Sylvester Sherman o f Indianapolis; Mrs. Sarah Pierce of Waverly, Mrs. Rockwell of Canton .
